At Red Shed Luxe, we take great care packing your candles and home fragrance so they arrive safely. This page explains how we ship your order and how returns and exchanges work.
All orders are processed within {1–3} business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after you receive your order confirmation email. You’ll receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days — if there will be a significant delay, we will contact you by email.
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Delivery delays can occasionally occur and estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.
We ship NZ-wide via {NZ Post / CourierPost}. Rural deliveries may take a little longer. We currently offer free standard shipping on orders over {$…}.
We {do / do not} currently ship internationally. Where international shipping is available, any customs duties, import taxes or fees imposed by the destination country are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our shipping charges.
When your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing a tracking number (where available). Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking information to become active.
Red Shed Luxe is not liable for products damaged or lost during shipping. That said, we want you to be happy — if your order arrives damaged, please contact us at theredshedcandle@gmail.com within {7} days of delivery with your order number and photos of the damaged item and packaging, and we’ll make it right with a replacement or refund.
If a parcel is lost in transit, please contact us and we’ll help open an enquiry with the courier.
Our return and exchange policy lasts 30 days. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, in its original packaging, with proof of purchase.
For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of candles or diffusers that have been used, burned or lit, or fragrance products that have been opened — unless the item is faulty or damaged.

You are responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable. Because our candles and glassware are fragile, please pack returns carefully and consider a trackable service. For full details, see our Refund & Returns Policy.
Your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and Fair Trading Act 1986 always apply — faulty, damaged or misdescribed goods are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.
